Communications VP: Harry Kaplan

Hey WOUSY! I’m Harry and I am your VP of Communications. I’m a senior at West Orange High School. I love to play football, golf, tennis, baseball, and am a super champion of ping-pong and dodgeball. My passion is playing trombone in the marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band, and any other band. Our USY is a great place to hang out with friends, make new ones, and have a blast with some crazy characters. I would love to talk to anyone who has questions about USY, so please e-mail me at harrykaps@gmail.com or just facebook me! I can’t wait to meet you and make some incredible memories!!!

 Membership/Programming VP: Nate Bargad

Hi! My name is Nathaniel Bargad and I’m the  I am your Membership/Programming Vice President for the West Orange chapter. I really enjoy USY. I am a junior from West Orange, NJ. I have many interests. I am very social, athletic, funny and smart. I am a sports fan (Yankees, Nets, and Jets) and I love to play sports. I also work for the Friendship Circle with disabled kids, I do community service jobs, and I watch pets for families that need help while they go on a vacation. My favorite part about being on board is going to board meetings because planning events with my board is very fun.

Social Action/Tikun Olam VP: Leanne Young

Hey everyone!  My name is Leanne Young and I am the SA/TO officer here at West Orange USY.  I am currently a sophomore at Livingston High School, but when I am not at school, I can usually be found reading, discussing or watching Harry Potter.  I also enjoy running, listening to Bruno Mars, and baking brownies.  Or maybe I just like eating chocolate?  I love being involved in USY and I hope that I will get to meet you at an event sometime soon!  Feel free to add me on facebook or email me at leanne.young@aol.com  since I can’t wait to meet you! Lets get pumped for a great year!

 Israel Awareness VP: Ariella Liebman

Hi, I'm Ariella Liebman and I am so excited to be Israel Awareness Vice President! I am so happy to be able to participate in West Orange USY this year! I go to Golda Och Academy and Camp Ramah in New England. My two favorite activities are dancing and swimming. I LOVE meeting new people and making new friends so feel free to contact me on facebook!

 Co-Freshman Representative VP: Shelly Tsirulik

Hey WOUSY! I am SO excited to be the freshman representative. I’ve been waiting FOREVER to be old enough to participate in USY, and I can’t wait to make this the best year EVER! I am a freshman (obviously) from West Orange, and I’m currently going to school at Montclair Kimberley Academy. I love every kind of sport, both to play and watch (except for golf, not sure how it’s a sport if they can’t even walk to where they hit the ball). I am a very happy person, and look forward to a great year! Any questions, email me at twins111197@aol.com.

CO-Freshman Representative VP: Ethan Tsirulilk

Hi, West Orange USY! My name is Ethan (pronounced eitan). I am a freshman at West Orange High School. I went to Schechter for nine years before switching to public school. USY has already changed my life and made it SO much better! I haven't missed a dance or convention so far and I don't plan on it. My best friends right now are probably my USY friends. USY is amazing! Especially West Orange USY!!

 Advisor: Jeff Kirschenbaum

HEY Everyone! My name is Jeff and  I have been the WOUSY Advisor for 5-6 years now and I love it. The kids keep me young and “on my toes”. Over the years I have worked with so many teens who contribute in so many different ways. I have a great president this year who is so committed to the success of our chapter. It makes each and every event we plan a fun experience. She is a “true” USYer and I am so excited to have her in my chapter. I have an extensive sports trading card collection and maintain 2 fishtanks in my home. I teach 6th grade mathematics in East Orange and enjoy challenging the mind of those young teenagers.

I want to thank my entire board for putting up with my inability to work with facebook, tweeting, etc and hope all of you enjoy our chapter website.

Looking forward to a great year.
