Purim Masquerade

March 1st, 2012

West Orange USY had a fantastic time at our Purim celebration. We played some fun ice breakers involving M&M's, put together Mishloach Manot to deliver to a Jewish nursing home, and of course had our costume contest. Everyones crazy costumes definitely made the night!

Teens as Toddlers

This event was definitely one of our favorites! Everyone had a blast relaxing with friends in PJ's. Finger-painting, riding on trycicles, buliding block towers, and our favorite preschool snacks definitely helped make the night memorable! And of course, we had lots of fruit in honor of Tu B'shvat!

Kayitz in January

Regional SA/TO Dance

Hundreds of Hagalilers gathered in Rumson for the GO GREEN SA/TO dance! It was an awesome night full of dancing, raising money for Tikun Olam, and a special "flash mob" to "sexy and I know it" by the Hagalil boys.

International Convention

December 23-29, 2011

1,000 USYers from all over the United States and Canada gathered in Philadelphia for IC 2011! It was an exciting week filled with ruach, meeting new friends, and reuniting with old ones. Hagalil had over 100 delegates, and our very own Hagaliler, Josh Ull, was elected President of International USY! It was an amazing convention, and everyone is already getting excited for IC BOSTON 2012!

Chanukah Bash

WOUSY members had a blast joining together to celebrate this special holiday! Everyone had a lot of fun baking cookies to donate to the local fire department, lighting candles, exchanging Chanukah gifts, and playing ice breakers games. It was definitely an event to remember!

Regional Membership Dance

Teenagers from all over New Jersey gathered in Bridgewater for this NEON THEMED dance! It was a great night filled with dancing and hanging out with friends!

Teen Shabbat

On this Shabbat morning, USYers and Kadimaniks gathered for a ruach filled service lead by some of our very own USYers.

Israel Adventure

USYers and Kadimanicks joined together for a great night revolving around Israel. We put 'mud' on our faces like at the Dead Sea, made a human version of Israel, wrote letters to Israeli soldiers, and of course, ate delicious falafel.

Regional Fall Convention

November 18-20, 2011

USYers from all over NJ joined together in N/S Brunswick for an incredible weekend. We experienced a ruach filled Shabbat, interesting discussion sessions, an exciting 50's themed dance, and listened to a speaker from the National Coalition for the Homeless.

Minute To Win It

West Orange USY split up into two teams (GIRLS vs. BOYS) to play this awesome game. Everyone acted silly together while completing crazy challenges in 60 seconds or less, such as unrolling a roll of toilet paper with just one hand. Congratulations to the GIRLS on winning this event :)

A Sweet Beginning

WOUSY Beach Party

WOUSY started off the 2011-2012 year by enjoying the end of summer at the beach. We caught each other up on our summers while soaking up the sun. Playing in the ocean definitely got us excited for the upcoming USY year!
